(Montreal, Quebec) It is with pride and admiration that we witnessed the accomplishment achieved by Marie-Michelle Fortin and Sébastien Roulier: to beat the Guinness record for the fastest duet marathon. The team crossed the finish line in 3:01, shattering the previous record of around 30 minutes. A race filled with emotion.
Sébastien admitted that this marathon was the easiest and the most energizing of his career. For her part, Marie-Michelle was very proud to have crossed the finish line with her teammate. She who had dedicated her race to her grandfather, himself a marathoner. Marie-Michelle had bought her first running shoes in her life.
